They create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and address community needs in unique ways. Recognizing their vital role, Ashoka is launching the "Power of Local: Supporting Ecosystems for Small Businesses to Thrive" Challenge.
Who is Eligible?
This challenge seeks to support small business ecosystem builders. These are organizations, programs, or initiatives that provide small businesses with the resources they need to succeed. This includes access to:
 * Funding
 * Training and mentorship
 * Networking opportunities
 * Market access
 * Tools and technology
What's in it for Winners?
 * Cash Prizes:
   * Ten winners will receive $15,000 each.
   * One Grand Prize Winner will receive $60,000.
 * Peer Learning: Semifinalists and finalists will have opportunities to connect and learn from other ecosystem builders.
 * Expert Feedback: Finalists will engage with a panel of judges from Ashoka and its partners.
Geographical Focus:
The challenge will award a minimum of two winners in each of the following regions:
 * Latin America
 * East Africa
 * West Africa
 * Southern Africa
 * East Asia
