Building Resilience and Investment in Growth for Agricultural Entrepreneurs in Agriculture 
(BRIDGE-), also known as BIA , is a Master Card program aimed at supporting the SMEs in agricultural sector.

Accessible Loans for Agribusinesses

To lessen financial constraints for young entrepreneurs, BRIDGE-in Agriculture collaborates with commercial banks to offer loans at single-digit interest rates, making them more accessible for agribusinesses. This financial relief helps businesses expand, generate jobs, and drive poverty reduction, particularly among youth and women in Ghana.





Program Specifics for Loan Support

BRIDGE-in Agriculture partners with commercial banks to deliver loans tailored for Ghanaian agribusinesses, addressing the financial challenges SMEs face.

 Eligible businesses include:

  • SMEs focused on primary agriculture
  • Agro-processing and agricultural input supply companies
  • Agri-tech companies
  • Businesses across the agricultural value chain, including restaurants and agricultural research firms

This loan program aims to promote job creation by helping agribusinesses scale up, contributing to widespread economic benefits in Ghanaian communities.





Skill Development for Youth and Women

BRIDGE-in Agriculture, in partnership with business development service (BDS) providers and offers free training and technical support to agribusinesses. The program is targeted at youth (ages 18-35) and SMEs in agriculture and related fields, enabling them to gain practical skills and knowledge that improve their prospects for dignified employment or successful entrepreneurship

Grant Opportunities for Business Growth

In addition to loans, participants in BRIDGE-in Agriculture may be eligible for grants of up to GHS27,500. These grants provide essential financial support to foster business expansion and empower selected trainees, helping them transform their ideas into thriving enterprises with a positive impact on the local economy.
