Funding Opportunities of Up to #4 Million to businesses Through Gain Micro funding. Application submission is on going.

Global Alliance for improved nutrition ( GAIN) a Swiss - based foundation, is calling on Farmers association, agribusinesses and cooperatives to submit applications for its ongoing Micro Grant funding opportunity.


This phase which is the third edition focuses majorly on Youths and women - led agricultural businesses, nutritious food businesses with food products from vitamin A cassava, Vitamin A maize, and orange - fleshed sweet sweet potatoes.



GAIN aims at empowering over 40 businesses with Micro Grant to bridge the financial constraints which many businesses especially the upcoming startups face.
Finance no doubt is one of the greatest backbones of any establishment, and that inspired Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) to come in here.



The beneficiaries of this great and wonderful opportunity are expected to enjoy the total sum of four million naira (#4,000,000) in grant. Obviously this gesture would help boost their various businesses in agricultural sector.



Agricultural sector, a very important sector that has contributed significantly in the national economy, creating job opportunities, food security and economic development is worthy of consideration.
Empowering the players in this important field is applauding considering GAIN's giant stride to empowering agripreneurs in the Country.



Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is a foundation launched in 2002 at the UN General assembly to tackle the human suffering caused by Nutrition deficiency.
For you to be part, there are some considerations to look out for.


* The applicants must be 18 years of  age and above.


* Youths and women led agricultural businesses


* You must be operating businesses functioning in one of the value chains, vitamin A cassava, vitamin A maize


* The business must be registered with CAC


* Group applicants must be registered with Smedan, CAC or with the state as co - operative society.



Businesses operating currently in the following states in Nigeria qualify to apply:


* Kaduna (Chikun,Giwa,Kawura)
* Nasarawa (Domain,Kokona,Awe,and Lafia)
* Benue (Aboko, Makurdi, Gwer - East, and Otukpo)
* Oyo ( Afijio, Iseyin, Oyo - West and Ido)
